What is SolarTools?
SolarTools Energy Portal is an industrial data platform that aggregates, visualizes and acts on data from any IoT-capable device on the field. From PV plants to factory machinery, cold storage and cogeneration systems, it's built to monitor anything that can communicate.
SolarTools provides a scalable and reliable environment for managing industrial IoT data. The platform’s core capabilities include:
- Data Integration: Collects data from different brands of gateways, analyzers, and sensors into a unified
- Artificial Intelligence: Improves operational efficiency through production forecasting and predictive maintenance analytics.
- Cost Management: Integrates with electricity market data to provide bill monitoring and savings projections.
- Cloud-Based Infrastructure: Provides a reliable cloud infrastructure that eliminates hardware costs and maintenance overhead.
What does it do?
SolarTools solves three core problems at once:
- Data collection: Normalizes data from dozens of protocols including Modbus, OPC-UA, MQTT, REST API and DSO integrations into a single unified format.
- Visualization: Monitor your sites in real time with pre-built solution templates or custom drag-and-drop dashboards.
- Action & decision: Turn data into operational decisions with rule chains, alarms, scheduled reports and AI-driven forecasts.
Data Collection
Brings data from dozens of protocols into a common format.
Visualization
Monitor field status with ready-made templates or custom dashboards.
Action & Decision
Transform data into operational decisions with rule chains and AI.
Architecture at a glance
Field devices connect to the cloud through a gateway. Each gateway hosts connectors that collect data from different protocols and forward measurement points called tags to the platform. A typical data flow:
Who is it for?
The platform offers specialized tools for different disciplines of energy management.
- PV plant operators — Teams monitoring inverters, strings, weather stations and energy meters across multiple sites.
- Industrial facility managers — Factories tracking PLCs, flow meters and pressure sensors for OEE and energy usage.
- Energy managers — Organizations optimizing cost through MCP/SMP and invoice analysis.
- OEMs and EPCs — System integrators delivering white-label monitoring services to their customers.
